Where? Thursdays at 43 Center Street Northampton MA on the second floor, the Northampton Friends Society's Fellowship Hall.
Wednesdays at North Star in Hadley MA corner of Russell and Middle Streets.
When? Six classes! Wednesdays 3 and 4 in Hadley. Thursdays at 9am, 10am, 3:15pm and 4:15pm in Northampton ; each class is 45 minutes.
For Whom? children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.
How much? $150 for a ten week session, plus a $15 materials fee (you get a CD and songbook with the music from the current curriculem.)
Why? Many studies have shown that early musical education will enhance a child’s development and confidence. HooteNanny will help you and your child gain basic musical competence through:

Who? Nerissa and Katryna Nields are national touring musicians, a part of the legendary band The Nields who toured North America throughout the nineties and into this millennium. As a duo, they were a part of Lillith Fair, and have shared the stage with Natalie Merchant, Suzanne Vega, Sarah McLaughlin, Dar Williams, The Indigo Girls, James Taylor, Joan Baez, the Band, 10,000 Maniacs, Billy Bragg, Dan Zanes and countless others, all of whom informed and enhanced their musical repertoire.
Katryna has participated in Music Together training (and is an alum of the fabulous Hill Town group with Lui Collins in Ashfield.) Nerissa spent four years as the musical director of a day camp of 400 kids. They grew up listening to Pete Seeger and Jack Langstaff lead audiences in song, and fervently believe that a group of people singing folk songs together is tantamount to heaven on earth.

Schedule:
The new sessions will begin the last week of April (Wed. April 29, Thursday April 30--Katryna's 40th birthday!) and run through the last week of June (Wed. June 24 and Thursday June 25). By our calculations, this means the session will be $15 cheaper because it's a 9 week session rather than a 10 week.
SO, if you have one child, the cost will be $150 (including materials--usually the cost is $165).
If you have two children over 9 months, the cost will be $240.
If you have three children over 9 months, $295.
(The first child is always full price. Additional children UNDER 9 months old are free.)
We will open up enrollment to those who are not in the current session (Hoot 8) on Friday March 27. We also have a fluid wait list, so please contact Nerissa if you want to be added to the list. Please indicate the number of children you have, their names and ages, and the class you would most like to be in (or classes--please indicate order of preference.)
There is space in both Hadley classes.
Our policy is this: if you are currently enrolled in a class, you get to keep your spot in that class indefinitely. If you want to move to another class, you will be first on the wait list.
